What are you think of? Cruiser? Sport bike? Dirt bike? Trials?
If your looking for a sportbike, look at some Honda 600s. There are piles of them out there. The prices are fairly reasonable. |

Hondas are good learner bikes. They are fairly easy to ride and almost bullet proof. The down side is they aren't fun bikes. The seating position is too upright for my liking. The handeling of CBR is usualy less than stellar.
If your looking for a beater bike for not much money, look into an older Yamaha FZR. There are piles of them out there, and they are cheap!!!! I prefer Suzuki. The new GSXR line up is ahead of the competition. The 600, 750 and 1000 are all fuel injected. They are all light weight. But, they are not what I would consider beginer bikes. Get a local cycle trader and look through it. If you see a bike you like, go check it out. But take someone that knows bike with you. People are pretty good at hiding damage. |
