ABS Light
Hello all, my ABS light and SERVICE ABS SYSTEM light came on, I took it to the shop, the ran a diagnostic and told us the right front speed sensor was faulty, so the replace the sensor and hub, I wasn't having any breaking issues prior to the light coming on and am not having any now, however, the machanic could not clear the light, he Ot a new code sayingC0040 undocumented, which also says it's a right front wheel issue. Any advice before I end up shelling out more cash?
Thanks to all, Eric |

Re: ABS Light
Ok, first an ABS light will not cause any braking issues. It just disables the ABS, which in my opinion, is not a bad thing.
Second, mechanics misdiagnose ABS issues all the time. My bet is your wiring going to the hub and sensor itself is the cause of your issue.
