Purge
Okay,
You know how cars with NOS purge before they race and a mist comes out of there vents when they purge. well i was wondering if their is a kit or some sort of way to use compressed water vapour to shoot water vapor out of my fender vents. NOS is too risky and isn't really nessacery for drifting so i don't want the real thing. I just thought that it would be a cool way to taunt and challenge people out on the tracks during grudge matches. Thats all |

when you install nitrous, the kits normally doens't come with a purge kit. you have to purchase it seperate. my shop has installed a few nitrous kits where all they do is purge. ( kinda dumb if you ask me ).
and how is nitrous not safe? if you running a little pussy 50-75 shot then it should be fine. you just can't have it as a button. you need it to be at the throttle plate, and it only shoots it when your at wide open throttle. this way you don't it the button at the wrong rpm and then blow your engine up.

I believe the increased torque without HP is due to the fact that nitrous only increases combustion efficiency. It does not increase the flow of air into the engine. Flow=horsepower.
Nitrous works in the same parameters of FI. You must put more fuel in for the amount of nitrous you inject into the engine. If not, you will run lean for the amount of concentrated oxygen in the cylinder and heat up the pistons. Same goes for FI. J SPEC, was that a wet kit or dry? And the torque must be common on all engines because a friend of mine dynoed his blazer with a 4.3l vortech and put down 315ft/lbs of torque with only like 250whp. That plus slicks enabled 12.73s but only at like 105mph or so. Lack of HP. And nissan180, your idea kinda reminds me of a dry hump.

just for some techinal info...its not safe to run past 1/3 of your hp with nitrous...150whp=50 shot of NO2. Its the safe method anyways.
And alot of CO2 kits are actually intercooler sprays....spray the intercooler to get a cold charge of air...they do it for dyno runs and top speed runs...just alittle info.. Quote:

I know they use it for intercoolers, but they found out that sometimes it got into the intake and fucked up the engine (CO2 doesn't burn) so some stupid company came up with this idea of having a nozzle out the side of your car to spray the stuff in the other guy's intake so his engine would get fucked and you won the race......

OOOOOOOOH. i heard of that a while ago, i was like, theres no way in hell they make that. it makes since now though, but thats gotta be the ultimate, pussy, bitchy, villian off of Speed Racer that flips off a cliff and blows up way to win.
