It's a good thing i pulled the ICM / ECM fuses before hooking up the battery. I was gonna test the car and found that i left it in neutral with the key on!! (had to rotate the motor forward yet again to tighten the backside bolt of the smog pump). I did the idle relearn for 10 minutes and drove it through Portland and Vancouver, no problems. Also, the LED instrument panel works as it should. I think the VSS was confusing the panel, now it works fine, no erratic blinking. Got mph, gas level, odometer. whew! Nice to have a running car again. Happy New Year!
