I'm not sure what kind of spark plugs since I have never replaced them, but when I do, I will take your advice. Thank You.

Regarding the problem I was having, it ended up being a flooded engine. I called the dealer to see if I could have it towed in, and they recommended I try to floor the gas and crank for up to a minute to see if it would start.

It started in about 5 seconds

I was surprised the dealer was so helpful, but very thankful.

I was never able to successfully see a spark while testing for one, even though it is obvious that there was one since the car started.

Does anyone know an effective way?

Re: infiniti j30 misses, not getting spark

dude i got some bosch +4 platinums and holy crap does my car run better. it is pretty easy to replace the spark plugs (took me 30 min). just make sure you have a long enough torque wrench 13mm socket and a socket for the spark plug.
