VW meeting

Quote:
Welcome to the AF Car Modeling

Volkswagen Meet

This thread is for viewing and posting VW models- classic to modern, old school aircooled Hoodrides to modern tuned Golfs, Beetles old and new. Members are welcome to add their own builds to the meet!

Please post only pictures and descriptions of your own completed builds. Also please refrain from adding irrelevant posts, such as "cool build!", "where can I get this kit?", and "keep them coming, let's see more!". This meet will be scrubbed of all non-gallery posts, and posts with nonfunctional pictures.

Please post your best pics of your build, say what the build is of and the kit(s) you used, and include links to any in progress or completed threads.

For posting guidelines, and to see other model meets, please see here.
Post up your VWs!

I've got three VW's built and photographed.

First is a two-tone new Beetle to resemble the old Gmund coupes:

Gunze's VW Kharmann Ghia coupe:

New Beetle done as a Baja concept with ideas stolen from the Isuzu VehiCROSS. Open top, Stealth spoiler, Copperhead wheels, and many detailing items added. It's the Tamiya kit but uses Revell interior side panels.

Here are already some pics, before the new one (taken from old threads, all the recent changings will be shown in the new pics, I recently took some old kits to polish them and finish some things I wasn't happy with.).

My Golf IV V5, some changings done now:
- PE grill in front bumper, hood and front opening
- window trim painted in black

My new beetle, the window trim has been painted recently too.

My 1/16 (Revell) Split window Beetle

My T2 busses

My Corrado Zender

My Karmann Ghia

and my 'In progress' projects

Golf III Gti

and my VW + Teardrops trailer --> see thread in my sig, I don't have a new 'complete' pic (beetle+trailer)
