05 expedition stranger starter issue

I just replaced the transmission in my 2005 expedition. After the install I went to put the battery cables on and the starter was trying to start with no key in the ignition. Never had a problem with the starter before. Any thoughts?

Re: 05 expedition stranger starter issue

Thanks for the reply. Figured it out. The solenoid was taken off the starter to get to one of the starter bolts and it was reinstalled incorrectly. once that was put back on, everything worked as it should.
