Question Looking for a good exhaust

I'm looking for a good exhaust to put on my 01 civic A/T. I don't want anything high pitched and I don't want a big tip. Any suggestions?

Re: Looking for a good exhaust

the only one that I can think of that would be sorta small on the muiffler and not give a high pitched sound is a dnx catback exhaust. there not all that bad and have an ok sound. not gonna do anything with performance much since you have an automatic but hey it looks good and its not that big either priced at only $200.

Re: Looking for a good exhaust

oh and my bad there not true cat back exhaust it hooks up to the mid section. But for your needs it be perferct. GIve you about 3-5more hp and a little better gas mileage. Add an ICeman intake or aem to pick up abit more fuel to. should net you total about 7-9 hp.

I just bought an RS*R exMag exhaust system and I LOVE it! I recommend it to people who are aiming for the sleeper look. It's a stock looking muffler (although, it comes with a tip) and it's pretty quiet. I do not regret getting it one bit. It was easy to install and it looks GREAT! JDM all the way! Anyway, good luck! And if you have any more questions or if you would like to see pics of the exhaust on my car...just ask!

I have a Buddy Club Spec-3. It's deep as hell. But the muffler is kind of big... I could take pics if you want.

I'd go with that Rs*r ex mag....shit is stealth and looks clean as well....gives off a nice sound at high rpms, none of that skunky loud shit that annoys the hell outta other ppl.

Re: Looking for a good exhaust

if you're up for spending a lil extra $ get a Tenabe... great hp, small tip, a lot quieter than other catbacks.

A'PEXi World Sport is about the quietest you can get next to stock, the only other exhaust I've heard even come close to it's quietness is the Mugen Sport twin-loop exhaust system, and the RS*R EX-Mag is almost as quiet as well.

Actually, the RSR is quieter than the World Sport.

Re: Looking for a good exhaust

I would suggest to wait awhile until the new GReddy Racing Full Titanium Exhaust comes out. It's going to be some big bucks, but hey i've been waiting for them to release it ever since i heard they were coming out with it. They came out with the exhaust for supras, RX7, 240SX, and for an Evo and they all are about $1,000. But it's a great exhaust and isn't going to sound like a fart can. i'll let you know when they come out with it for Hondas

Thumbs up Re: Looking for a good exhaust

5Zigen, not very many people have it out there, it's nice and quiet, and when u hit the gas it has a nice deep and throaty sound, it's a very good tone..has a 2.5'' muffler tip, so it's not ricey...i'm getting one once i get my performance mods taken care of

flowmaster makes any car sound good, i personally hate the weed eater sound of most exhausts on 4bangers. but i heard a flowmaster muffler on an integra and it sounded pretty damn good, comin from me, a v8 man
