Formula TR Pro Racing
Formula TR Pro Racing to replace US West Fran-Am Pro Series. After a season as Fran-Am Sport in 2003, and in a move to continue what was started in 2002 with Fran-Am, Mr. Steve Henry and Ms. Patty Halloran, with the continued support of Paladin Motorsports and NASA (National Auto Sports Association), have formed Formula TR Pro Racing. Formula TR will continue to give the green flag to the 14 and 15 year old kart drivers where they will have an opportunity to enhance their driving development in a state of the art FR1600. The FR2000 is the next step for 16 year old and older drivers to pursue their quest in a career in auto racing. The races will be held primarily on the US west coast with a schedule of 8 weekends/16 races. First race weekend will be at California Speedway March 7 & 8, 2004. Steve Henry, COO Formula TR, stated “The Formula TR team will persevere with what we developed in 2002. Jerry Kunzman at NASA, Reza Honarvar with Paladin Motorsports, Patty Halloran and I developed a strong formula series. We all see the potential in this type of series and are determined to continue forward. For further information contact Steve Henry at 714.774.0642.
