Another Respirator Question..
If the respirator mask says it will protect you and block out 95% of the stuff.. should I be worried about that missing 5%?

If I was working in a confined environment with limmited extraction I would! Realy depends on what and where you are spraying. With my respirator I get 100% filtration even sprying heavy duty laquers in doors with just a window for ventalation.

What if I was planning to use it in a 20ft high ceiling garage that can fit one car. Is that good enough to forget about the 5% ? Or should I buy another one to be on the safe side?

You have plenty of space, the next thing to consider is where your fumes are going to go. You need to get them out of that space as best you can. You either need to get good airflow going through the garage (great for clearing fumes, but can blow dust and grit all over your fresh paint) or rig up dome kind of extraction system. The first option is cheaper, and to be honest what I do... It's all about compromise. The ideal solution is to spray in a clean room with filtered air supply and extraction system like the pros have. However that's unrealistic even for most pro modelers. I'd go with a good respirator, like you have, ventilate your spraying area as best you can and maybe think about either buying or building a spray booth if you think you need it.

Well, my plans are to just do most modeling in the winter or something.. During the summer what I will do is just keep the garage door open when modeling.. Is that good?
