96 Maxima SE 0-60 MPH timing
I have a problem, I think, with my Maxima. Whats the 0-60 MPH timing its supposed to have if its 1996 Maxima Se Automatic with 17 inch wheels??? I think my car is not performing as well as it should. (It also has a performance K&N Intake and a straight pipe instead of the catalytic converter).

for stock 1995 se its 6.6 seconds 0-60, I assume around the same for you if not a little faster cause of the test pipe

6.6 for 5 speed, and that's a car mag test number...if you brake torque it, you should be able to get to 60 a little under 7.5 seconds. btw, 17's didn't come on maxima's until 5th gen

It may be your straight pipe. They are loud, unreliable, and just straight-up unnecesarry. It may be leaking air, or may not be installed correctly.

I checked the straight pipe. Its not leaking any air and the noise is almost unoticeable. And I also timed it running 1st and second manually with the overdrive off. Any other ideas??????????
