Primer/sealer for Milano Red

First of all Hi!

Few days ago my car got hit at the parking lot. We had to repaint right rear quarterpanel. The car is Milano Red color (Honda's R-81 paint).
So here it goes. The car went to paint shop and yesterday I saw it. Rear quarterpanel is painted with black (maybe very dark grey) primer or sealer and it's awaiting for it's base coat and than clear coat.
But here's the thing. When the quarter panel was fixed I saw that primer under original red paint was very light grey. I was worried about color matching and noticed the paintshop worker which said to me, that it doesn't matter what color is the primer. But I have doubts. I think they should use bright primer, like the original, to perfectly match the color of the rest of the car. I think that bright primer will give brighter red than black one.

The insurance company (and me) is paying a gret deal of money for this and I want a perfect match. Can someone clarify me about this. Paint shop is using Glasurit colors and primers.
