need help 91 240sx

i got a project car and it runs real rich and dies after 2500 rpms any one please help with any help that would be great

runs rich? that could be a big vacuum leak anywhere after the mass airflow meter, it could be a bad pressure regulator, a bad mass airflow meter, bad injector(s), or a faulty ECU. or maybe something else im forgetting because of the insufficient information you have given.
