Im kinda of having the same problem with my 2001 malibu. i had to give my car a jump and afterwards my radio didnt work. though the difference is that there is no words on the display. there should be power to the radio because the buttons are lit up. but theres no display. what can it be?

I purchased a 2003 Chevrolet Impala CD Player. After I installed it displays a message "LOCKED" I went to the Chevrolet Dealer and they want $55 dollars for the code. Can you help me.

Only the radio manufactorer(the stealership) can unlock them.

I just replaced the engine in my 98' chevy blazer and the radio is locked, I have the six digit code you get out of the radio I just need the next step. I need help.

Welcome to AF xr768cougar.

Should be able to access by pressing the minute button then 000 should apear.
Press the minute again to make the last two didgits to your code # then press the Hour button to make the first didgits match your code.
After you enterd you code press AM-FM and if done right SEC or something should be displayed.

This all has to be done with out more then 15 sec between steps.
Also if you fail 8x entering the code, INOP will appear and you'll need to leave the key on for a hour to reset and try agian.
