Corvette ZR1, digital art illustration + how to

New illustration
A magnificent Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1, 2009-2010

Here is a quick example of how I do it in Photoshop.

Place good path lines from a previous hand sketch

Roughly work in the basic colors

Refine the body color, windows and interior

Add in details (Headlights, dark shadows)

Add highlight and rims

Add a background and you're done!

With digital art, is easy to modified the illustration to offer a variety of body colors

Visit www.etienneart.net for more illustrations and details about my work
You can buy a 14"x11" print of this illustration on my Ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/Etienne-Art-A...ive-Car-Prints

Thank you for your comments

Merci! I'll have to play with Illustrator more for my 'sketches'. Oddly enough, I use Ai for my 'real' job, LOL

BTW, Etienne, I was in Montreal for part of the Grand Prix weekend. Always love it there. So close, yet so little time....

Between Illustrator and Photoshop, I prefer Photoshop, as I find it a lot more powerful, but mostly less painful to work with... But illustrator can surely do the job also.

Very nice and thanks for taking the time to post the "how to" steps.
I like seeing and learning from how others put their artwork together.
