Chipping
Hi All,
I have a 1995 318is Coupe and was thinking about getting it chipped. Has anyone got any ideas as to whether this would be money well spent? Does it affect the car adversly? What about the effect on fuel consumpsion. I have heard that fuel consupsion will be reduced is this the case? Will it make the car perform better etc?? Thanks in advance |

Yes it would be money well spent. The only adverse effects is that you must put 92+ octane gas in the car, which is better for it anyway. I haven't heard anyone mention that fuel consumption went down after chipping except for the fact that they liked to drive it harder after the chip. Good luck with your purchase.
