"Limp" Mode
Hello, my Chrysler Sebring 3.5L V6 went into limp mode back in June and I took it in to get it looked at and fixed. It has been about 4 months now and the car went into limp mode again!
Here is what the mechanic wrote on the receipt: "codes- p1745, p0457, p0456, p0935 after diagnosing cars tcm computer is not communicating with ecm computer. we need to remove computers and reprogram (synchronize computers together) Notes: if this car is being raced or rpm are reving causing over load computer will trip again. one example of computer tripping is when trip tronic is being used and rpms are reving too high. a case like this would cause computer to trip." I just need some perspective...am I going to be spending $500 every four months to keep this car? or is there a way of avoiding this for a longer period of time? |
