Re: OmniPower or Tein?
Belive me, being involved in road racing now and auto-X for the past 3 years, I have quite a bit experience, and not just with one (my) car either. I've driven BMWs with the active electronic suspension in a race/auto-X type setting and in "sport" mode I personally never felt a ride comfort differance. On turns you feel the differance in the actual lateral-G handling, but not in bumpiness. That's because like I siad the electronics of the system allow it to instantly adjust when the car it back in a straightline or on bumpy road. Yes the Lincoln system can be replaced with perhaps better, but the stock system on it is quite nice when working properly. But like you said, replacement parts are very expensive and the main reason why people swap it out. I've heard about the Bose theories and technologies on suspension, that's been around for a couple years now, well the R&D of it.
