clear over pin stripe tape?.
Is it OK to apply clear coat over pin stripe tape, or should I just pull it and reapply when the clear is cured. This isn't a show vehicle, just a basic new color job. It is a single stage paint ,I applied the tape already and now they want it clear coated . thanks in advance Regg

Pinstripes can be applied under clearcoat without issue and can help to prevent a pinstripe from fading because of the UV screeners that are incorporated into most clearcoats. Additionally, the clearcoat can be a physical barrier as well that can prevent physical damage being done to the pinstripe. Throwing things yelling in a mad high pitch.
