99 Jimmy Cruise throttle cable

For the love of all good, does anyone know how disconnect this servo cable from the control module next to the brake booster? or maybe just the throttle clip itself? Can't find a word or pic about it anywhere and brute force didn't even work! Mitchell no help either. 99 Jimmy SLT 4.3L

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but usually that servo and cable stay together. Disconnect the cable from the throttle body and disconnect the harness to servo. Unclip servo and remove.

Re: 99 Jimmy Cruise throttle cable

Thanx, that may very well explain it. My clip to the throttle broke. The cable into the servo looks like a kinds of quick disconnect and it seemed to reason to me that the cable would disconnect there. Mitchell seems to indicate that it does come apart there, but no detail at all, just a vague drawing. Was hoping to score another cable from the bone yard. The yard here is littered with Jimmys. Can you pls at least describe where the servo's 'clips' are?
