Opel Astra Phoenix Lots of pics

This is the tamiya Opel Astra V8 Team Phoenix kit. The kit fits together fairly well. Only problems were fitting the chasis to the body and putting the doors on. One suggestion to people who plan on building this kit is to screw in the two piece hinge first then glue to door, and finally screw into the top of the car. Also i recomend cutting the arrows out (decals) and not using the yellow/white parts as it makes the seperation line noticable.
Also the sms carbon fiber decal set with the templates are aweful. Had to make my own mask for almost everything besides the chasis. Other than that its a great kit, plan on building the other one as well.

SMS PE
SMS cf decals
BMF
Detail master fittings
Studio 27 seat belt material
TS paints, humbrol enamels

Onto the pics:

Let me know what you guys think.

I just can agree, the Astra looks great with all that CF-Decals, awards for all modells are well deserved

Me too.

I have alwys like the look of the Astra kit for its positionable doors - sadly a rarity in kits but is so great for viewing and showing off interior work. Well done!
