1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo
I have a 96 Grand Cherokee Laredo can anybody tell me if I cut my catalytic converter out & run a straight exhaust pipe. The cat is pretty nasty & gunked up? Can someone PLEASE give me a straight answer irreguardless of the silly legalities PLEASE!??!! Thank you!!

As the vehicle is over ten years old I don't think you are required to get an emissions inspection.The engine should run fine without the converter.
If your required to get an emission inspection it won't pass. |
