'88 E30 has gone thru 2 fuel pumps!
I just got a lot of fuel system work done (new tank, new lines) and a ton of unrelated suspension work. When I got the car back from the shop, it lasted about a day before the fuel pump died. The pump was from the old car, put in the new tank.
I ordered a used fuel pump on Ebay and it died after just a ride to work. Does this sound like 2 faulty pumps, a bad mechanic, or a deeper problem with my car? Everything else is in very good shape, to my knowledge. Any help is appreciated, thank you. |

Try testing the two fuel pumps with a car battery sometimes they get stuck when there's not enough power to keep it going.
