Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
Just got back from the lot went to scope out before tommorow. Got 2 in mind. either a 96 blazer w 80k or a 97 blazer w 157k. The 96 is 6k wout service package and warranty 7k with and the 97 is 3k. Im actually leaning towards the 97 even though i know of the issues i figure it has probally been serviced for some of them issues. Gonna run carfax on it as i got the Vin and its a W motor. Did CPI end in 95? I think it should be a SFI motor.
There both blue and 4 doors. The one im looking at has no trailer hitch but has got the button for the fog lights inside but no fog lights because they were aftermarket. Some scratches here and there on it but NO RUST AND THAT MAKE SHAWN HAPPY. Plus i think im leaning towards the 97 just because its 3k should be able to do no down payment and co signor and can probally have it paid off next year or early the year after. Well im off to carfax/ research this thing and im gonna call the lady tommorow down there to see whats up/

Rabbit mutilator jailed
A Sydney financier has been jailed for 16 months for "the worst case" of aggravated cruelty against animals.
Brendan Francis McMahon, 37, of Tamarama, will have to spend at least 12 months in jail for his torture, mutilation, and alleged sexual offences against 17 rabbits and a guinea pig.
The magistrate, Ian Barnett, said a strong message should be sent to the community that people such as McMahon could not escape responsibility for their actions by the fact they were psychotic at the time.
"In my view this is one of the worst case scenarios of aggravated cruelty to animals," he said.
He accepted McMahon had a lifelong cannabis addiction and, before and during the offences against the animals, had a $125 a day addiction to methamphetamine (also known as ice).
"In my view there is community outrage at this matter and someone should not be allowed to commit such offences of aggravated cruelty against animals and say 'Well I had been using ice at the time. I have been taking cannabis most of my life.'
"My view is ... this is not acceptable."
The dead or dying animals, some skinned, were allegedly found in and around McMahon's York Street office between July and early August last year.
McMahon ran a financial planning and mortgage brokerage, Meares-McMahon Capital, with Jason Meares, the brother of the swimsuit designer Jodhi Meares, former wife of James Packer.

isn't there better things he could be spending time doing? Try running, cycling, going to bars, meeting women. Now he's gonna be spending time blowing Bubba.

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
i like the general idea, but I think it would look better if he would have sunken it in a bit more, notice the very top has a "lip". if he could have made that flush with the roof, it could look very nice IMO. just my

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
Guys just got in last nite from Flordia did not see blazee in the magic kingdom.'lol'
dad got his blazer back from mechanic, he got some stuff to fix. If someone can goto www.summitracing.com and confirm this part number as what is needed for an 01 Blazer it would be kool. Part number ENS-3-5190R
He needs Front Sway Bar Bushings, Front Pads and Rotors and he has a nail in the one tire that has to get plugged ASAP. He apparently has rear disc brakes yet his RPO do not list his rear end as having that unless it came as stock in 01s.
This link mite work

Re: The Official Blazer Forum Off Topic Thread part III
Looking at this 88 Chvy blazer w the Z 4.3 motor. I didnt think that engine was in the 88 year as i thought it had the 2.8. I did get the VIN from the dealer and it came back good and i ran KBB on it. It has 161k miles but has 3 month warranty. He wants 2695 to finance it which is 550/650 down 200 month and it be payed off in a year. Im thinking of going down driving it and seeing if i can get it down because the KBB is 2200 on that year truck with the options it has.
