Cool instrument panel illumination

i got a toyoya levin , but the instrument panel illumination no longer works after i installed a cd player . i think i made a wrong connection during the installation. wondering if the fuse fails. but dont know where it is. help me please.

you have possibly connected the earth wire of the radio to the illumination wire in the radio loom if so the park light fuse will have blown so you may have no tail lights as well repair the wiring at the radio then check the fuses the fuses are under the dash possibly in the kick panel
