ABS Light

Still working on my ABS light on my 95 Lumina.
My Snapon Microscan scanner with the obd1 adapter tell's me there is no connection to the ABS.
Now eather it won't read ABS or i have a power problem to it.
I'm hoping brcidd see's this and can come up with a wiring diagram for me.
I need to check the power's and ground's to it.
Not much info doing a google search on these ABS problem's.

Thank's Scott

Re: ABS Light

Okay- my print to pdf is not working- but here is link to screen shots of your abs wiring diagrams- it may be best to print them out, cut out the borders and tape them together. there are 3 diagrams- first has 3 screen shots, last 2, 2 screen shots each

Re: ABS Light

Ok. Finely got back to my abs problem.

Printed the info and here's what i got figured out so far.

I found the EBCM just above the brake pedal and a bit to the left. Disconnected the 32 pin connector and dove in and ohm check'd the WSS's.

LR ohm's 2,162. Seam's kinda high for the one's i'm used too.
RR ohm's out at 2,185. Sence there both pretty close i'd say ok.

LF ohm'd out at 1,661.
RF is 1,166. Sence there close i'd say ok.

Did a pin to ground on all the WSS's and got OL so there ok.

Now here comes the tricky spot. The 8 pin connector at the EBCM was not marked what i could see so i followed the diagram and did some ohm checks and here's what i got.

Green and orange to the rear abs motor is 3.2 ohms.
purple and black to the rt front motor is 4.3 ohms.
Pink and purple to the lf front motor was 1.2 ohm's
---------------------------------------------------
NOW i'm not 100% sure i found the correct wire and as color blind as i am i'm hope'n i'm wrong.
The left front motor look's to be a short.
Not real happy with the other motor ohm check's eather.

D10 is hot all the time,
I never checked D11 for ign power yet, Dunno how i spaced it out.

I guess i need a diagram with the connector's showing what is C1 to 16 and D1 to 16 and what is what on the 8 pin connector with the bigger wires in it.
Out of these 8 wires 6 of them run to the unit on the master cylinder and i have no clue where the two other ones go to.
I also noticed a relay down by the EBCM with 3 wires running to it that's not in the wiring diagram.

I alway's thought the EBCM was what turned the amber abs light on and with the EBCM unpluged the abs light is on then too, But the red Brake light is off.

It's possible i have a defective EBCM, and or a bad unit on the master cylinder.

I guess the next thing to do is find a donar and steal some part's.
And more research on what abs system this car has on it.

If ya think of any thing else i can do let me know, In the mean time thank's for your help on this, brcidd.
