Check with progressive at https://sl.progressive.com/es/mc.asp?refcode=gmc01 you might get a better deal.

Progressive gave me a pretty good quote for my bike even though they wanted to rape me for my auto insurance... Also try "GuideOne"... they have a website, but they won't do online quotes, so you'll need to find a local agent to help you on that one. I hear many good things about State Farm, but I never got a quote from them so I can't say one way or the other.
Best of luck, and happy riding.

Find a local insurance agency that only has insurance for motorcycles. I pay 350 a month for 3 bikes (r1, r6, vulcan).

I also have full coverage, if I went with progressive, just my R1 would cost me about 7,000 a year.

A lot of people have had good luck with State Farm.
I have insurance through Erie Insurance. I have my car, the wifes jeep and my GSXR 1000 all trhough Erie. I pay about $550 a year on the gixxer. Erie is not afraid to pay a claim and they dont jack your rates too bad if you do have a claim. I think Erie is only liscensed in Ohio and Pa. |

I love Erie. They are not afraid to pay a claim. I almost burnt my house down last winter (long story). They were more than happy to pay for anything we needed. The claim was about $15,000 Our rates went up a whole $30. |
