2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ - Replacing Intake/Header Gasket

I drive a 2003 Jeep Wrangler X with the 4.0L. There is a header exhaust leak and I need to replace the intake/header gasket. The header is made by Pacesetter. One of my questions is...are the torque specs different for the Pacesetter header than what is indicated in the Haynes Manual for the stock exhaust manifold?

Also...this is my first time to d this job myself. Any advice?

Thanks,

Scott

PB Blaster(wallyworld, autoparts etc) penetrating oil, daily for a few days on the nuts. On hot and cold engine.

Scott, check with the manufacturer on the torque settings for their header. Depending on the material it's made from, the required torque could very well be different; hate to see you bend your new header using cast iron settings!
