Air Intake Valve
I just bought a 94 Accord LX 5-spd. I'd like to clean out the air intake valve like I've done with my other car - VW.
In my VW, it's pretty standard to do: 1) Access the valve. 2) Clean valve 3) reinstall valve 4) DO A TBA (Throttle Body Adaptation) with our VAG-COM tool. Does my car have a Throttle Valve Module that electronically adjusts the throttle position like my VW? If so, is there some sort of procedure I need to do after cleaning the throttle valve? I don't want to do is mess-up the idling on the car after cleaning the valve. Is this pretty standard practice for you DIY'ers on your Accords of this generation? Thanks. |
