Oil leak and coolant issues

I have a 07 G6 and it goes through a quart of Amsoil a week I have replaced valve cover gaskets thinking that was the problem but no luck. Not leaking around the oil pump shaft o ring everything is wet underneath? Any suggestions? Also there is a coolant leak and there is no spots under it. I would say about a quart a month leak. Any suggestionsfor that as well would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Oil leak and coolant issues

For the coolant: I think you may have a crossover pipe leaking. They usually leak on the back side, on the cylinder bank that's closest to the firewall.

It's a common problem, but without a pressure tester, its going to be hard to diag. It leaks when under pressure, and because its hot, the coolant burns off before you can see it leak.

For the oil: sounds like it might be the oil filter adapter gasket. Also a know issue on these engines. Best thing to do is change the oil, then clean it like a mo-fo with some brake cleaner, or a pressure washer. Then you can put in some green ac dye into the oil. It won't hurt it. Drive it, then use. A black light to see where the now green colored oil is leaking from.

Hope that helps.
