Help! Need Cheap Fun!!
So , I'm looking to spend under 5000 at the most on a car. This is Canadian dollars (so 3000 American). I could do some mods, as long as they stayed in the price bracket.
I'm thinking of a) Mazda 323 GTX (1500bucks, and its 200hp, 4WD) IF I can find one cheap Eagle Talon TSi (1st gen) These are about 3 grand, have AWD, 190 hp from a Turbo'd 2 liter (or 2.2) Ford Probe GT (Turbo 4, 0-60 high 6s or low 7s) 145 hp. Front drive (I think, which is bad) 2-4 grand Toyota MR2 Supercharged 145hp Blown 2.2 liter. 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. 15 second quarter. The only one I've found so far is 5 grand exactly. Will most likely need to spend money on suspension (crappy stock) Plymouth Lazer RS: Turbo'd motor, fairly fast. Should be in Price range. front wheel drive, so that not to good. Toyota Supra Turbo (80-s version) TT 6, 232 hp (only 6 psi, so a chip and its 12, and 260+hp). About 3-5 grand. Dont know much about them (0-60 in 6.6 seconds stock) So any help or suggestions are welcome!!!

If your on a tight budget - dont get a turbo charged car. The repair costs might be more then you want to handle.

Turbo'd cars can be expensive. But they are easily tuneable and fun. I would make sure the Turbo itself is good, and check out the rings. If I put on more boost, I would spend some time for a metallic head gasket.
Too add to the list (insurance also plays a part, though)\ Chevy Camaro Ford Mustang
