Best place to buy amp kit (not online)
i want to get an 8 gauge amp kit but not online cause i dont want to wait for it. =( i know im going to pay more. any suggestions?

I'd say Circuit City. Try to stay away from Auto Custom stores, i.e. Audio Connection, Auto Inttentions, etc. They always jackup the prices. Should be able to get a nice one for around $50

just go to some place that sells wires and buy it by the foot it'll come out way cheaper. try home deopt, i seen a whole bunch of speaker wire and stuff like that over there.

Circuit City! They only sell Monster Cable.Which is one of the best cables you can buy.

Think again. Circuits amp kits start around 70 bucks for an ok kit. Theyre kits are similiar to the ones that I sell at my store. ( I work for Best Buy) Circuit carries Monster cable which is decent stuff but you will pay out the rear end for it. As long as you install the power kit properly you will see no gain from using Monster Cable. We just started carrying Monster and do not reccomend it unless the customer really wants it because it gives no advantages. Recently attended a Monster Cable training/ convention and their reps are full of $hit. - Brian
