2007 Yukon intermittent starting issue
I have a '07 Yukon V8 5.3L with 53k miles on it. Every so often, when turning the key to start, releasing the key back to the on position, it keeps "turning over" so to speak, as if stuck in the "start sequence." Anyone else having this issue? If I switch the key back to off, then quickly back to on (not all the way to starting position), it will stop and remain running. Or, I have to turn the car off and try again.
Any ideas? Starter? Ignition sequence? Something interior ignition area or under hood? Thank you for the help. |

Re: 2007 Yukon intermittent starting issue
After a few weeks of closely paying attention to it trying to see if there is a pattern...seems to happen after it has been running a while, then I turn it off, and then come back to start it a while later (~1 hour). Cold start or turning off and starting again right away won't replicate the problem. I've heard twice now that it may be a solenoid... my bro-in-law says fuel system... and dealer thinks something in the electronic start... but until they duplicate the problem, are hesitant to start "fixing" things.
