...A little help...
My girlfriend just recently bought a '96 Dodge Avenger, and everything was all good up until about a week ago when there is this squeaking/grinding type of noise that comes from the driver's side front of the car by the wheels. It happens when you get in and out of the car, when you hit a bump, and when you turn. Do any of you have an clue at all what it could be? Shocks or struts maybe? Thanks in advance if any can help!
Or might it be the cv joint? |

if it makes the noise when you get in and out of the car, how about have your gf get in and out while you're looking under the car so you can pin point the squeak? just a thought...

I know this is late, but that sounds about the same thing I had happen! I have a 95 Avenger. Check the Ball Joint/Control Arm. My problem was just that. The recall was not done on my car. good luck! |
