2001 mercury sable blower does not work

the blower on my sable is no longer working for both heat and A/C. I can feel a small amount of hot air coming thru the ducts but not with any force and I cannot hear the blower fan. When I switch the electronic controls to adjust the airflow I can hear the baffles moving to redirect the air.

Any help will be appreciated.

That part should still be under warranty. If it isn't, look under the dash on the passenger side where the HVAC unit is located. There should be a little trap door style cover under the glove box. It is being held in place with approx. 8 10mm bolts. Remove that cover and you should have access to the blower.

thanks for the response. I should have noted that the car now has 60,000miles and is no longer under warranty.

I have found and replaced the blower, it was full of water! I took apart the old one and the metal parts were rusty. I now need help in tracking down a water leak. Any suggestions?
