Accessing the Lexus windshield camera

Earlier today I was witness of a terrible accident that happened just feet in front of me. It was a head in collision that sent one car at least 7 feet airborne and flipped and landed on its roof as it slid down the road. It took the Jaws of life to get the victims out and helicopters were brought in for evac. Once I got home I looked and noticed a camera in the top of my windshield under my rear view mirror facing forward. I was curious if there was a way to access this camera as it would provide very value video to investigators that told me to call them if I gained access to video. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Accessing the Lexus windshield camera

I think it is difficult to get any result from windshield camera. Mostly cameras used in car are for safety and not for recording something. But if you think your car camera is eligible for recording or shot, then you have to look for some car technician or camera operator. thank you
