1996 maxima, needs a new transmission where do i go

So i have this 1996 nissan maxima 5 speed, i absolutely love it but recently 2 gear syncro started going out so it grinds a bit, i want to keep the car but i can seem to find other 5 speed for sales, any ideas on where i can but a remanufactured transmission or what should i do, want to keep the car

You just need a new synchro. By searching and calling around, you should be able to find a transmission shoo that does manuals. Most only do automatics, but you should be able to locate that rare gem of a shop that really knows what they're doing.

Until then just double clutch.
