How to run the block heater cord from engine compartment to outside of grill. 2021 malibu

First of all GM engineers have decided not to give u an access hole to run ur cord through To the grill to plug it in.

I found a way to do this without drilling holes or dissembling anything.

I have pics on how to do this.I would be happy to share them
Way easier with pics. AF won't let me attach them.
Emails r welcome. Will send them for clarity.

Open hood.
Look directly under the the top of the rad support.
There is a rubber flap there. Along where the hood latch ect is located.
The block heater cord is coiled up on the passenger side or the car Un coil it.
Use a piece of thin or mechanics wire.
Tie it around the male end of the cord n guide the mechanics wire through the rubber flap to the outside of the grill.
Start by guiding the male end o the cord through the rubber flap with ur fingers, to make sure it is straight.
Fish n wiggle it through while gentlely pulling the mechanics wire until the block heater male plug is at the grill.
Be gentle maneuvering the block heater end through the space in the grill.
Once u get it through the grill ur pretty much done.
Now tie down the cord n zip tie to finish the job.
Block heater only operates at -18 C
Done!
Mods. If this post in the incorrect section, plz move.
Thx

Pics are easy. Upload them to a site like imgur. Imgur gives you the vbulletin code to paste in your post. If not right click (or long hold on your phone), copy image location, click the little mountain icon in the Quick reply area, then paste the link and hit ok.

The pics I finally figured out:

https://i.imgur.com/GvNooVp.jpeg
https://i.imgur.com/0iwr1Hh.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/rgRc4ok.jpg

The first pic is angled from the right to left of the car and the cord being tied down with zip ties.

Second one is the cord being uncoiled and fitted to go thru the rubber flap.

The third one is the cord being zip tied to finish the job.

The forth one is pulling the cord thru the grill.

The last pic is the one i show the cord going thru one of the rubber flaps or slits.

I hope these pics come thru. First time trying this. Patience is a Virtue...

The pics are a little backwards n all over the place. Took me a while to get them on AF. lol

I have searched the internet and have found many problems with the block heater cord not being accessible at all. I'm not sure how many other malibu models and years have this issue also.
Hopefully this will help out as I live in Northern Ontario Canada and it can get quite chilly in the winter months--to put it mildly.
