1965 Mustang 2-speed wipers
I'm looking to get a 2-speed wiper motor for my 1965 Mustang. However, all I can find are 1-speed motors for my car. It looks like the 2-speed motor from 67-73 Mustangs will mount right up, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any info on the upgrade? I really want to have 2-speed wipers. I've also found a 2-speed wiper switch with upto a 15sec delay, so that with 2-speed wipers will make my Mustang even better.
Thanks in advance. |

Re: 1965 Mustang 2-speed wipers
Thanks, but that site still didn't answer my question. I know about the late 66 model having 2-speed wipers, but I cant find any 2-speed motors specific to the 66 Mustangs. All I can find are the 67-73 2-speed wiper motors. As stated in the 1st post, I can get a custom 2-speed wiper switch w/delay. So, that's not a problem. All I need is a 2-speed wiper motor.
Ok, here's the big question. Will the 2-speed wiper motor from a 67-73 Mustang mount directly into a 65 Mustang. I'm only concerned with mounting the motor. Custom wiring is not an issue for me. I can handle that. I've done custom wiring before in several other cars. |
