Switched calipers, brakes don't work when car turns on.

Alright, first time I've been here, and A quick answer would be great. Just did a rear brake job (plus caliper replacement) on my '95 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, but there's a problem. We've bled the brakes multiple times, and they do pump relatively tight and brake while the car is off. However, when we turn the car on the brake pedal swings without resistance. They all shoot out good pressure of brake fluid while it's off. The brake fluid reservoir is full. I noticed I put the rear calipers on right on left/left on right, which I was a little annoyed about but assumed it wouldn't affect performance. When the cap is open while I pump the brakes while it's off, it continually glugs down fluid. When it's on, the brakes just whoosh. My question is, is there an obvious problem, or is it the caliper side mixup?

Most of the time, the caliper brake bleeder nipple is located so that if the caliper is installed 180* off, the bleeder is not at a high point.
So some air may remain in the caliper.
