Question about cost range
I have a question about the cost range for fixing up a 1971 Chevelle SS. It needs new steel and everything. I'm guessing around 12-15 grand. I'll get a picture of it up tomorrow.

Re: Question about cost range
We need more info for an educated guess ? A lot depends on the condition of your car . The more work it needs , the more the cost will escalate and it will do so quickly ! Any work you can do yourself will help control the costs but if you're using a professional to do the work , well frankly , you'd better have a big wallet . You could go to local shops and ask for estimates of the cost . You mentioned a possible cost range of $ 12K to $15 K , the body work and paint could easily reach that amount . It all depends on the existing condition of the car and the level of perfection you're seeking ! Keep us informed and Good Luck !
