Pioneer AVIC - Z1 vs Others
I've really been looking into getting an indash nav system. I have all the other tv's already (7 of em) playing off a seperate dvd under the seat. I think the pioneer looks like the best on the market right now but i've hear Eclipse is also top notch. I was looking for a double din. I'll have to custom fit in to a din and a half (01 GMC Yukon XL) so what is the best on the market?
P.S i can get the AVIC-Z1 for 1300 brand new so i'm really leaning toward that one. Thanx

Pioneeer is a great company, as is Eclipse. Here, i'd just recomend the cheaper product.

I still find it amazing ..... you can get the same DVD/small monitor in a portable for like $250 - but when it's car stuff, you can double to quadruple the price.

yea the speakers tend to be more rigid and buit better though but in terms of electronics there is none besides converting it to use dc as the primary source
