decal's job finished, 1/2+2 TS13 hands, Micromesh 3,2K-4K-6K, Tamy polish Fine (not all 3, I love just fine after meshes), Tamy wax: Isn't a livery that allow massive reflections, also automotive flat base is a bit tricky to glossy up, they need a hi-depth of clear: despite all I'm quetly happy with the low thickness of all the body threatment, is come out sharp to me.

That looks great Gio!
The shine looks just right to me. The decals came out really well and they are TS13-resistant too!

Re: Ping & Pong present: Two VERY Red Ferraris
Ok guys: thing come hard now LOL:
When I (well we, me and Mr.Ping) said that those ladies done 15.000 miles in China, we dont mean that: but something close to: and... no you aren't in the wrong forums: this isn't battle tank and army equipment forum: those are ever our girls LOL So... time to dirty up a bit my pony: my viewpoint is that my scangi is at 14990 miles done, few befofore the well deserved final wash , so if they achieved (I guess) some body wash over ther raid, I guess underpanel was in a terrible (for a ferrari, not for your suv LOL) condition at athe end: this is mine: I started weathering by drybrushing several tones of brown and sand over 3 shades of blacks: 1- is TS6 matt black, 2- is ModelMaster flat black, 3- is Vallejo acryl black (lightened with a 10% of sand) At this point I realized that my stained/heated mechs was really in a comic contrast with undrpanels: Step by step: 3 or 4 layers of brown, every step lightned a bit followed by 5/6 layers of sand, lightened to dark-white over the process: I tried to mantain something of the original color (LOL) to see differences from metal, plastic, protection laquer etc... at this point was time to washing all with a black crap , so XF1 thinned with alchol, followed from a dirty hand of Flat black MM thinned with sinthetic thinner ( the cheap thing normally used to clean brushes or thin oil paint insthead natural trementine). I put a lot of liquid on bolts and panel joints and let he flush throught the chassis enough for 15000 dirty miles? BTW I promise, my red car would be a factory showroom thing, something that love marketing managers that have to sell it LOL

Re: Ping & Pong present: Two VERY Red Ferraris
WOW how could you do that with such a beautiful lady!!!j/k~ though i had a preview but was still totally shocked when looking at those pics.not too much at all buddy!just right for some over 10,000 miles trip,i dont think they often washed the chassis as well as the body either as you said~ so just right, successfully replicating and amazing effect! let's wait for the last 1 mile~

Re: Ping & Pong present: Two VERY Red Ferraris
Nice job!
I really like that finish, but, I'm surprised that after 14,000 miles she only got dirt, especially on those rough roads, so what about some dents in the exhaust? or some scratches in the underpanels? Are you going to reproduce the headlamp grilles? Very good job! When is Mr Ping update coming?

Re: Ping & Pong present: Two VERY Red Ferraris
Hi,
great weathering (isnīt it a pity to ride a car like that through the mud ? , nevertheless I guess it was mere fun )
