AA Brahma vs. RE XXX

I'm getting some car audio and i keep getting the same amount of suggestions of the RE XXX and the Adire Audio Brahma, and I just want to find out which one you think is better.

I have never used either one, but I am planning on getting a 15" brahma for the CRX sometime.

But remember, I have a volkswagen Jetta so i'm talking dual 12's, i'm going to put 2 12's in there, not 15's, they won't fit. and i'm basing this on rap music.

lol have you heard one before? are u sure u want 2 12's of any one of those?

i haven't heard either, but i have heard the XXX's lil brother the .hc, and with 1200rms it was quite loud

but its completely ur preference, people have mixed opinions

but i hear from people that..
xxx can take a beating, and is more spl oriented
brahma sounds better

If all your going to be listening to is rap you don't really need an XBL^2 motor. Unless you have tons of power the sx series from RE will work great. Brahmas are definately good with lower power too, but they're also a lot more expensive then sx's. If you going to be putting above 1500wattsrms to each sub then youre gunna want to get a xxx. Also are you planning on getting a nice front stage? It's going to take a pretty loud set to keep up with the bass.

i'm kinda' leaning towards the brahma, but the xxx is still on my mind, but for the brahma, I was going to get 2 12's or would 1 15" be better? and would 2 12's be better than 1 15" for the xxx?

Also How much would a 15" and a 12" brahma cost each? and how much would a 15" and a 12" xxx cost each?

xxx 12's are 400ish shipped brahma 12's are 379 shipped..... but may be on back order...... xxx 15's are 430 shipped and brahma 15's are 439 shipped. SX 12's are 249 plus shipping and sx 15's are 269 plus shipping. A 15 is not quite the equivalent of cone are as 2 12's. 1 15 has a sd of around 810 cm^2 while two 12's have around 960 cm^2

i'm either gonna' get 2 12" brahma or xxx. which one would you choose if you could get 2 12's from Adire or Renosant for free.

make sure you have enough power too, you're going to need 2-3000rms to use them to their full potential, and you're going to need an electrical system that can actually support that. If you can't provide both of those things, then it would be a good idea to step up to a single 15 or step down to the SE or SX. 2 12's of either model is going to cost close to $2000 to set up properly, so keep that in mind. 1 15 will cost more like $8-900

I have a Volkswagen Jetta so it isn't quite alot of space. Two 12's will fit. WHAT AMP(S) SHOULD I GET TO POWER 2 12" BRAHMA'S OR 2 12" XXX'S ??

I have $3-4000 to put towards my system. I have everything picked out exept the subs and amps. I'm o.k. with putting 2 grand into my subs and amps. I just want top of the line.

And after all of the research I have done it's came down to the brahma or the xxx, but i have no idea on the amps.

i know youre lookin to really bump.. but are you competing or anything? cause i seriously have a feeling that 2 brahmas or XXXs would be a little excessive.. you can get a single one of either to be loud enough to make you want to get the hell out of the car .. so i mean if you need two subs im sure that two SEs would be fine.. but personally i would just get a single one of either of these.. trust me, youll be heard around the block if this is what you want.

I want top of the line, but I don't think i'm going to be competeing. I want to be heard around the block. i'm not gonna' down-grade to se's, i'm either gonna' get 2 12" brahmas or 2 12" xxx, and after seeing the video's of the brahma on adireaudio.com i'm thinkin' i'm gonna' be opening my wallet soon... but i still need to know which amps to get to power 2 of these.
