The 1:8 scale Ferrari F40 Progress Thread

I did the first one incorrectly. A total of 33 parts.

One problem - I can't get the 5 lug nuts to go through the holes in the rim.

I don't believe I am looking at a scale brake . I think this thread should be moved to the Ferrari forum.

But the area where the disc's are slotted seem uneven, like it was melted?

you mean in the last photo? I superglued that disc, I didn't solder it like the first one. It was just a mistake, I didn't glue it close enough

here's my oil cooler, I really don't think I can get myself to paint it black like it says in the instructions.

100% metal, 10 pieces

here is the oil cooler with mounting brackets.
I refuse to paint the whole thing black, it would hide the detail to an unacceptable level. Not to mention when the model is finished you will be able to see where the $1400 transkit Kicks It Up A Notch on the base F40.

Make a progress thread!

I can't wait til you start building the ENGINE!!!!!!!

Since it's such a big scale does it move or like does the engine go on in 1/8 scale.
