Re: ferrari 458 italia

hello, there are some update.

gloss clear the carbon area and flat clear the rest of the area of the center console, button painted, "ferrari" PE added...

stock brake and gas pedal removed and replace with PE...

i dont have any flocking powder, so i use fabric that have similiar to flocking powder texture to replicate carpet...

carpet applied, after saw a few interior pictures of 458, realised the gas pedal should be attach on the base, so i install both pedal saparately...

can consider done on the interior part... here are some pictures...

thats all for now... next, have to move on to the door.... thats gonna be a long progress.... thanks for watching and all comment are welcome.

Hi, thanks for your comment, i don't have any specific technique on cutting the door, all i use is just a sharp n thin scriber and design knife with new blade on. I slowly scribe all the way of the door panel line untill the plastic is thin enough to cut with design knife. Hope this can help bro. Have a nice day.

Door jam.. i think

Great Idea of opening the door, would be a pity to hide all that excellant detail behind a closed door!!

Re: ferrari 458 italia

after a long break, here are some progress of my WIP.

stock head light, drill it out with 3mm bit, replace with LED head. BTW, i just want the clear dome. wont light it up. haha...

further detailing the door jamb with polyester putty, then fill it smooth with white putty... still alot more putty and sanding work to do, but atleast the shape is there.

thats all for now. all comment are welcome.
