I think my HU is about to die

Is my HU about to go or is this something else, the other day I took these blue L.E.D. lights out of my car, they were hooked up to the stereo, now, whenever I turn left it starts to crackle as If I had computer speakers hooked up in my car. Now, the part my friends love is the way I fix the problem, I jerk the wheel to the right. then it sounds normal. WTF?

Re: I think my HU is about to die

Bad connection? I had my VR3 amp and the terminal connection for ground came lose...I told my girlfriend I needed a new amp. If it didn't do that I would still be stuck with VR3. But for me to fix it I would wave my arms back and worth...guess it moved the car enough to get a connection.

Re: I think my HU is about to die

A bunch of the wires were connected only be twisting them togather and then electric tape, so I reconnected all of those by crimping them. It didnt work. I turned the fader all the way to the front and it doesnt crackle anymore when I go around a turn, I have the fader mostly up front. It is OK for now.
