Crutchfield vs. Best Buy
I have a 1994 Toyota Camry (4-door Sedan) and know that I need 6 1/2" speakers for the front of my car. Crutchfield claims that only a select few 6 1/2" speakers will work, otherwise the factory grill will not work and I will have to cut. Best buy, on the other hand claims that any 6 1/2" speakers will fit fine - has anyone installed speakers in an older camry to know? Or, if not, who should I trust? I would like a bigger selection to choose from, but, being new to installing speakers, I want them to fit w/o doing any cutting. Thanks for any help.

Crutchfield is right because some streakers have the high cone that sticks out farther so it could be a problem. But maby they mean that it could have a different bolt pattern which would need a custom bracket to git all the bolts on. but Crutchfield should know which would work and which would not work for your car so just call them after you picked out the ones you what and ask them if it will fit.
