98 Frontier engine noise
I have a 98 Frontier 4wd, 4 cyl. Yesterday it made a loud noise when I pressed the clutch to the floor. It has been sitting idling for about 10 minutes.
This continued every time I pressed the clutch all the way in. Very loud and much like a starter engaged after the motor is started but seemed much louder. Did not have to press clutch pedal to the floor to change gears, so I drove the 25 miles home. When I got home I also noticed the radio, cigarette lighter and heater fan/AC not working. I turned the truck off and when I restarted it all the problems were gone. Everything was working and no noise? Can anyone tell me what this was and if it will give me problems again? Thanks |
