1964 galaxie "R" code 427
I have a 1964 galaxie with the original 427 and 4 speed the car has a good rear end 9inch. The car is in rough shape needs 75% restoration. But the engine is good really good it was pulled many years ago and never put into a car it's been in storage for years. I'm asking for a friend that's thinking about letting them go he said when the engine was pulled it ran and drove. Wandering a value time to let go of his baby

This was the engine that nascar originally banned from nascar in 1964. I think this info is hard to find.

Without seeing it I'd guess it could go for 3 grand based on what I've seen similar go for in the current restoration market. That in the middle of a 1 to 5 grand range based on the rarity.
